Before you connect.
Quick answers about Steam sign-in, idle slots, card farming, and account safety.
What does Steam hour farming do?
It keeps your selected account signed in and marked as playing a game, allowing its normal playtime counter to increase over real time. It does not make time pass faster.
Do I need to download the game or leave my PC on?
No. The Mochi server runs the farm worker, and it does not download the full game. Your own computer can be off after setup.
Where is Mochi hosted right now?
For now, Mochi's farm workers are US-based. US users are most likely to pass Steam's location checks. International users may see extra Steam Guard or location warnings until regional workers are available.
Why is there a separate Steam connection step?
Signing in with Steam identifies you on the Mochi website. The farm worker is a separate Steam client, so Steam may ask it for your account login and a Steam Guard approval or code.
Can I add an account that is already on Mochi?
No. Each Steam account can belong to only one Mochi user. If it is already connected, the setup page will tell you instead of creating a duplicate.
Can I play games while the farm is running?
You can stop farming from the dashboard before playing. Steam may interrupt an idle session when the same account starts a game elsewhere.
Does the free plan support more than one game?
The free plan allows one selected game at a time. Paid plans unlock more active game slots.
Is Mochi affiliated with Valve or Steam?
No. Mochi's Steam Farm is an independent service powered by ArchiSteamFarm. Steam and Valve trademarks belong to Valve Corporation.
Can hour farming guarantee cards or avoid every account issue?
No service can honestly guarantee drops or zero risk. Card eligibility is controlled by Steam and each game. Use the service responsibly and avoid sharing account details through DMs or support messages.
